A three-evening introduction to reduction lino printing—build layered, multi-coloured prints from a single block, one stage at a time.

Join us in the studio for a relaxed, three-part evening course exploring the thoughtful process of reduction lino printing.

Running over three consecutive Thursday evenings from Thursday 2nd July, this course gives you the time and space to really settle into the rhythm of designing, carving, and printing in layers. Using a single lino block, you’ll gradually cut and print each stage, building up colour, depth and detail as your image evolves.

Across the sessions, we’ll guide you through planning your design, working through your colour sequence, and printing each layer in turn. It’s a slower, more considered way of working—full of anticipation as each stage reveals something new.

This course is ideal if you’ve tried lino before and are ready to explore a more in-depth technique, though beginners are very welcome too. We’ll support you throughout, whether you’re refining your skills or starting fresh.

By the end, you’ll have a small edition of your own hand-printed pieces, along with the confidence to continue the process at home.

All materials are provided, along with tea, good company, and a welcoming studio atmosphere.
